It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Book Date .This meme is a great opportunity for book bloggers to showcase their ‘book-ish’ habits for the week. It is a good forum to share books read in the past week, current reads and upcoming reads. It is also a fantastic way to connect with fellow bookworms and add some books to your reading wishlist. Thanks for hosting Book Date!
It has been a bright and sunny start to May here. Our lovely warm autumn temperatures continue right through this week. School resumed for the children this week, so my blogging has stepped up at notch. I managed to do a cover reveal, a special longer format Anzac day reads post and two other reviews. I knocked off five books from my reading pile this week , which was pleasing. I also attended my book club meet for the month to discuss my pick, Jasper Jones by Craig Silvey, which was a fun evening!
If you would like to catch up on any of my posts or reviews from the past week I will leave the links below.
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher (3.5 stars)
Angel’s Share by Kayte Nunn (4.5 stars)
Beneath the Parisian Skies by Alli Sinclair – exclusive cover reveal

That’s all for this week. Thanks for tuning in. Mrs B 🙂
We’re gearing up for our long, dry and hot summer. Autumn and winter sound lovely. I’m not a fan of summer (except for the swimming). Saturday was my the junior to cadette bridging ceremony in San Francisco. My daughter and I are sore and sunburnt from our adventure but we had fun. Come see what I’m reading.

I am not a fan of summer either, autumn and spring are the best seasons! I do hope your summer is bearable. Sorry to hear you and your daughter are sunburnt from your day out but it sounds like it was worth it adventure wise! Have an enjoyable week and happy reading. Thanks for stopping by too!

Thanks for coming past this week Laurel. It has been a fruitful week incoming titles wise! It was interesting to compare the TV series of 13 Reasons Why to the book. I hope you have been enjoying the series, I found it very addictive.

I’ve had The Woolgrower’s Companion for a couple of weeks now but I keep letting other books get in the way!

Thanks for taking the time to pop past and take a look at my books this week Theresa. I too have had my eye on The Woolgrower’s Companion for a few weeks now. I am looking forward to getting into it but I have a stack of review books to get to first. It’s nice that we have the same taste in books too!

It is nice! I look forward to your reviews, especially when it’s on a book I’ve read or have put aside. I love comparing book thoughts.

Thanks for calling past this week Greg, hope your week is going well so far.
I am very happy to get five books knocked off my TBR pile but it has made no difference to my overcrowded shelves.
I can recommend 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher, I did like comparing the series to the book.

Your received collection of books are going on my TBR list as I’ve heard great things about them. I’ve yet to watch 13 Reasons Why, fingers crossed Netflix keeps it running for a while.
