Mrs B’s Book Reviews Review Policy
The books I select to review are based on my personal reading preferences and that of the target audience of my blog. Through my blog, Mrs B’s Book Reviews, my aim is to showcase books that I enjoy and share this with my followers. Please note that I do prefer to support Australian authors.
My reading and reviewing preferences extend to:

*Contemporary fiction
*Women’s Fiction/Chick Lit
*Psychological Suspense/Mystery/Thrillers
*Crime
*Historical Fiction
*Children’s books (aged 0-8)
Please note that I will not accept requests to review books from the following genres:
*Fantasy
*Sci Fi
*Paranormal
*Horror
*Young Adult
*Non Fiction (including memoirs/biography)
*Erotica
*Short Stories
*Books within a series I have not previously read
*Political
*Religion/Christian
*Sport
*Celebrity
*Fashion
*Poetry
*Self Help
At this stage, I am also unable to take any further request from self published titles – unless I have previously reviewed your book or I have connected with you (i.e. by social media).
I review in print form only. I can no longer accept ebooks. I do not use Netgalley. Please note I am located in Western Australia when considering postage costs.
Should I accept your book for a review on my blog, please be patient for your review to appear. I am a busy working mum of two young boys and I put much thought, care and effort into ensuring my reviews are the very best they can be, within my time constraints.
Please be aware that my reviews are honest, fair and comprehensive. They include a cover image, title, author, publisher details, purchase information, star rating and book blurb. My reviews are approximately 200-500 words, depending on the individual book and my response to this book. I also link the blog post to the publishers and the author’s website.
All reviews on my blog appear on my linked Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter and Goodreads accounts. If you are an Australian Woman, I can also link your review to The Australian Women Writers Challenge, where I work as a round up editor for the romance genre. At your request I can also post on Amazon or other affiliates.

I will ensure I will get back to you as soon as possible. A short synopsis of your book, the genre of the book, release date and contact details would be much appreciated if you are considering asking me to review your book.
