It's Monday! What Are You Reading

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Book Date .This meme is a great opportunity for book bloggers to showcase their ‘book-ish’ habits for the week. It is a good forum to share books read in the past week, current reads and upcoming reads. It is also a fantastic way to connect with fellow bookworms and add some books to your reading wishlist. Thanks for hosting Book Date!

This is my second post for It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? Book Date, the host of this meme and the other bloggers who participate in this meme were so welcoming after my first post. I can see I am going to enjoy participating in this weekly blog post. As you can see I am pleased with my reading total this week. I managed to finish four books, one of which was a review book for The Reading Room. The rest was based on my personal reading choices, which were loan books from a fellow bookworm. I really enjoyed the two Australian rural fiction novels I read, it has to be my favourite genre. Today I am reading Black by Fleur Ferris, a Young Adult book that caught my eye at the bookstore. Also on my reading list is another review book from The Reading Room/Allen & Unwin titled Goodwood by Holly Throsby. I am also keen to read The Wife’s Tale by debut Australian author Christine Wells as I’ve seen a number of positive reviews on this novel. If you are reading this I thank you for taking the time to stop by. I would also love to hear what you are reading and what your thoughts are on any of the books on my reading list.

    1. Thanks for stopping by Kathryn. It’s good to hear you enjoy Australian rural too. Rachael Johns is one of my faves. I was lucky to recently read a ARC of her new book The Art of Keeping Secrets, it was very good. My review is going up when it is released 🙂
