It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Book Date .This meme is a great opportunity for book bloggers to showcase their ‘book-ish’ habits for the week. It is a good forum to share books read in the past week, current reads and upcoming reads. It is also a fantastic way to connect with fellow bookworms and add some books to your reading wishlist. Thanks for hosting Book Date!

A lot of reading, review work, a book competition win, a book club meet and some so-so weather just about sums up my week. How was your week?

I also managed to publish three book reviews over the past week. Should you wish to catch up on any of these I will leave the links and ratings below:

    1. Thanks Janine. I have everything crossed for you that a copy of Fleur’s new book makes its way to you! I feel a lot like like with Kirsty Manning’s debut, A Midsummer Garden. I’ve tried that many times to win it with no success! Looks like I’ll be buying it when it hits the shops!

    1. Aww, thanks so much Laura, glad you like my book haul this week! Sorry to hear A Letter from Italy is only available in e format your way at the moment. I’m a paperback girl so had to get myself a hard copy, love Pamela’s work!

  1. Lots of pretty books! I enjoyed Behind Her Eyes, although the ending was one I didn’t expect. I also loved In a Dark, Dark Wood and Woman in Cabin 10.

My (Not So) Perfect Life is one I’ve been ogling.

Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.

    1. Thanks for stopping past Laurel 🙂 Phew, what an ending Behind Her Eyes threw at the reader! Glad you also loved the Ruth Ware books 🙂 The Sophie Kinsella books was just a so/so read for me, I hope you enjoy it more than I did!

    1. Thanks so much for stopping past – I will have to check out your blog! I’m sorry to report but the Sophie Kinsella book wasn’t a great read for me. I do hope you enjoy it more than I did, I’m keen to hear your thoughts! Have a great week!

  2. You sure had a great reading week. I hope you enjoy Pamela Hart’s book, it was certainly a worthwhile read for me. I haven’t read Susan Duncan but I must try her at some point.

    1. Thanks for calling past Kathryn. Yes I was lucky to be blessed with a healthy reading week last week! I love Pamela Hart’s work, I’ve been counting down to the release of Letter from Italy. I’m so glad it got the tick of approval from you. I’m enjoying what I have read so far of the Susan Duncan book which is good because I have a pile of her other books sat here!

  3. I did a lot of reading too, especially since my internet service went down fore a few days. That pretty much stopped my blogging dead in the water!

I liked the woman in Cabin 10, and the reviews I’ve seen have me VERY curious about Behind Her eyes.

    1. Great to hear from you Greg, hope you are well, thanks for calling past here too 🙂 Awesome news on your healthy reading week, not so good news on the internet service though 😦

Great to hear we both liked The Woman in Cabin 10. I would be keen to hear your thoughts on Behind Her Eyes, I’m still trying to head my head around it!

  4. An array of books you have listed. So many of them I’ve not heard of before but as you know I’m very interested in Fleur’s book as she was my very first rural author I read and she is quite a remarkable writer. I hope she doesn’t veer away from her rural crime writing as she has a gift for writing in that genre.
Have entered so many book giveaways, very hard to win one but I’ll keep on trying!

    1. I’m so glad I have introduced you to a new set of books! I always love spreading the word on good new books 🙂
I think Di Morrissey was the first rural author I read, followed by Fiona Palmer. I love Fleur’s work too, that’s nice to hear she was the first rural fiction author you read. I agree completely, Fleur leads the way in her crime/suspense writing.
If only you lived here you could have my proof copy! Fingers crossed a copy of the book makes its way to you in some way soon 🙂 I have felt like that about The Midsummer Garden by Kirsty Manning. I’ve entered that many comps/review opportunities and I have had no luck!
