A lot of reading, review work, a book competition win, a book club meet and some so-so weather just about sums up my week. How was your week?

I love the books you have in this post! I wanted to buy A Letter from Italy but it’s only available in ebook format in USA & Can, so I’ll wait for the release of the paperback in Sept.

Lots of pretty books! I enjoyed Behind Her Eyes, although the ending was one I didn’t expect. I also loved In a Dark, Dark Wood and Woman in Cabin 10.

You sure had a great reading week. I hope you enjoy Pamela Hart’s book, it was certainly a worthwhile read for me. I haven’t read Susan Duncan but I must try her at some point.

Thanks for calling past Kathryn. Yes I was lucky to be blessed with a healthy reading week last week! I love Pamela Hart’s work, I’ve been counting down to the release of Letter from Italy. I’m so glad it got the tick of approval from you. I’m enjoying what I have read so far of the Susan Duncan book which is good because I have a pile of her other books sat here!

I did a lot of reading too, especially since my internet service went down fore a few days. That pretty much stopped my blogging dead in the water!
I liked the woman in Cabin 10, and the reviews I’ve seen have me VERY curious about Behind Her eyes.

An array of books you have listed. So many of them I’ve not heard of before but as you know I’m very interested in Fleur’s book as she was my very first rural author I read and she is quite a remarkable writer. I hope she doesn’t veer away from her rural crime writing as she has a gift for writing in that genre.
Have entered so many book giveaways, very hard to win one but I’ll keep on trying!

I think Di Morrissey was the first rural author I read, followed by Fiona Palmer. I love Fleur’s work too, that’s nice to hear she was the first rural fiction author you read. I agree completely, Fleur leads the way in her crime/suspense writing.
If only you lived here you could have my proof copy! Fingers crossed a copy of the book makes its way to you in some way soon 🙂 I have felt like that about The Midsummer Garden by Kirsty Manning. I’ve entered that many comps/review opportunities and I have had no luck!
