Op-Shop Buys 14/6/16

One of favourite past times that is connected to my reading habits is picking up books to read at bargain prices. Today I was lucky to find two titles, both 2015 releases, at my local op shop –  Salvos. I look forward to reading Burnt Paper Sky by Gilly Macmillan, a thriller covering the disappearance of Ben, an eight year old boy. I also look forward to reading Louise Penny’s The Nature of the Beast, a Chief Inspector Gamache thriller. This is another thriller that looks at the disappearance of a young boy named Laurent, who is renowned for his strong sense of adventure and rich imagination. It seems like a clear theme of missing children is emerging from my book selections today!
